When I first heard of this movie, I thought, it was probably just another slapstick comedy, because I didn't like Old School that much. Then after the 20th time of seeing the movie poster, Ed Helms with a black eye and a missing tooth, at my local bus stop, I checked out the ratings on IMDB, and was surprised how highly rated it was. After seeing the movie properly, I was very very impressed with it.

The storyline does seem like Dude Where's My Car, but more like Dude Where's Our Best Mate. The story is a series of revelations of what the guys did the previous night and it flows pretty smoothly, even if the events are predictable in a sense, given the genre. The tried and true main characters, the uptight nerd, the popular jock, the crazy loose cannon, are portrayed wonderfully by the cast, with a lot of great one-liners coming from the crazy guy. Throughout the movie, you just expect him to speak up with some random dialogue that illustrates his stupidity and the predicament they are in.

All the support cast did great as well and brought their own quirkiness to the movie. The much hyped cameo of Mike Tyson was pretty good. Though his acting wasn't as polished as the others, he seemed comfortable portraying himself on the big screen.

There isn't much else to talk about this movie except that it's sure to be one of the funniest movie of the year. Go see it.
